Recipe: chilighetti

chilighetti

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 large onion
1 1/2 cups uncooked spaghetti, broken up
1 can (16oz) kidney beans, drained
2 tsp chili powder
2 cups tomato juice
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
3 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp cumin

PREPARATION:

Brown and drain ground beef. Chop onion and add to meat. Using a 2 1/2 qt baking dish, sprayed with cooking spray, alternate layers of meat, uncooked spaghetti, and beans. Mix chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and cumin in tomato juice in saucepan; bring to boil. Pour over other ingredients.
